All-On-4 Dental Implants vs Dentures : Which Is Right For You? All-on-4 ...
In the past, when you had an entire arch of missing teeth, you had little choice but to opt for dentures.
While dentures have a long history of use and are extremely successful, the solution does have some limitations that until fairly recently, dental scientists found very difficult to negotiate around.
Fortunately, today, patients have the luxury of choice when it comes to treatment to restore their smile. Two of the most popular options available are All-On-4 Dental Implants and traditional dentures.
If you would like to find out more about either All-On-4 dental implants or dentures, we would be delighted to help you.
Please take a moment to Call our offices with your query, or to schedule a consultation to discuss tooth replacement solutions with our dentist.

Pregnancy and teeth | Effect of pregnancy on periodontal and dental health
Pregnancy is a unique period during a woman’s life and is characterized by complex physiological changes, which may adversely affect oral health.
At the same time, oral health is key to overall health and well-being. Preventive, diagnostic, and restorative dental treatment is safe throughout pregnancy and is effective in improving and maintaining oral health.
However, health professionals often do not provide oral health care to pregnant women. At the same time, pregnant women, including some with obvious signs of oral disease, often do not seek or receive care. In many cases, neither pregnant women nor health professionals understand that oral health care is an important component of a healthy pregnancy.
Providing pregnant women with counseling to promote healthy oral health behaviors may reduce the transmission of such bacteria from
mothers to infants and young children, thereby delaying or preventing the onset of caries.

Cardiac Diseases Affecting Oral Health | Heart Disease and Dental Healt...
Did You Know Your Heart Health Is Tied To Your Oral Health?
There are more bacteria in your mouth right now than there are people on Earth! If those germs settle into your gums, you've got gum disease.
The biggest culprit is periodontitis which is the erosion of tissue and bone that support your teeth. Think: chronic bleeding gums. Bleeding gums release bacteria into the bloodstream through chewing and brushing. (These same bacteria that cause periodontitis have been found in the atherosclerotic plaque in arteries in the heart and elsewhere and can lead to a heart attack!)
For many years, the relationship between oral health and disease was suspected but not proven. Today, many studies exist that directly relate your oral health to your systemic health and heart disease is at the top of the list.
Periodontal disease, also called gum disease, is mainly caused by bacteria from plaque and tartar build up. Recent studies from different dental associations are showing the connection between periodontal disease and other health problems.
Your mouth is the conduit of all health and if your goal is to prevent the onset of disease, then let us educate you so that you are armed with the ability to make decisions that will change your life.
